Keyboard navigation and access keys
Depending on your web browser, by using the TAB key on your keyboard, you will be able to select any of the links on this page (SHIFT+TAB takes you back to the previous link). Once you have selected the link you wish to follow, press ENTER to follow that link.
TAB/ENTER functionality as described above is built into most web browser software. However, to further help users who favour keyboard navigation, the following access keys (single characters on the keyboard) allow you to navigate to the main sections of the Living Options website:
- 1 - Home page
- 2 - Site map
- 3 - Accessibility (this page)
- 4 - About us
- 5 - Contact us
- 6 - Living options calendar
- 7 - Living options news
- 8 - Useful links
- Q - Disabilility Training & Access Audits
- J - Outreack Work
- L - Deaf Project
- M - Devon Link Magazine
- P - See Hear Centre
- R - Diversity Co-ordination
- S - Research
Please note that access keys are not supported by all web browsers, and are activated differently in different browsers. Activation of access keys for a number of common browsers is listed below:
- Internet Explorer 5 and above for PC - Hold ALT, then press the access key. Release both keys and then press enter.
- Internet Explorer 4, Firefox/Mozilla (all versions), Netscape Navigator 7 and above for PC - Hold ALT, then press the access key.
- Internet Explorer 5 and above, Firefox/Mozilla (all versions), Safari for Mac - Hold CTRL, then press the access key.
