Whilst we at Living Options recognise the importance of keeping to web standards and avoiding proprietary file formats (such as Quicktime) wherever possible, we have chosen the Quicktime format to convey BSL information as it is the easiest way for us to produce, manage and stream video content to our users. We feel that the importance of being able to easily provide content to those whose first language is British Sign Language outweighs the potential problems of incorporating this type of content on our website. We welcome your feedback and suggestions on this.
