Devon Disability Policing Project
Devon and Cornwall Police Constabulary (D&CC) commissioned Living Options to carry out research to develop a better understanding of the issues which affect local Deaf and disabled victims of crime and their carers. The main purpose of the research was to gain a more comprehensive
picture of disabled and Deaf peoples’ perceptions of disability related crime, its impact and levels of satisfaction with the current service
provided by D&CC. In turn the report provides recommendations for service improvement.

South West Capacity Development Project - Making the personalisation of care and support work for all communities in the English Regions
This research, commissioned by the Equality and Human Rights Commission, aimed to:
- Map services to enable users to access and utilise personalised care and support
- Explore the barriers users from a specified marginalised user group or community face in accessing and utilising personalised care and support through in-depth consultation
- Identify ways of addressing the barriers experienced by users from the specified user group or community
South West Region Support Brokerage Pilot Evaluation
This report assesses different models of external support planning/brokerage services provided by independent sector partners to include voluntary organisations, with the underpinning principle being to offer a choice of support planning and brokerage to service users with a personal budget or self funders who are non Fair Access to Care (FACS) eligible.
