Celebrating 35 years of Living Options Devon

Published 16th July 2025, in News, News & Updates

On Wednesday, we proudly brought together staff, volunteers, and trustees at Exeter Racecourse to celebrate a major milestone in our charity’s journey – 35 years of Living Options Devon.

This special event was a chance to celebrate our legacy: 35 years of working alongside Disabled people and Deaf people to make sure their voices are heard, their experiences are respected, and their rights are championed.

It was a meaningful moment to reflect on all we have achieved together, to recognise those who have shaped our story, and to look to the future with fresh energy and ambition.

We are so grateful to everyone who helped make the event such a success – from the team behind the scenes to those who shared their stories and memories on the day. Most of all, thank you to every person who has been part of the Living Options Devon journey over the past thirty-five years. Your commitment, passion, and lived experience have created a legacy that continues to inspire us.

As we look ahead, we are excited to keep building on everything that has come before. Together, we will continue to remove barriers, promote inclusion, and celebrate every voice.
