Disability awareness training for vaccination centres

We’ve been delivering Disability Awareness training to vaccination centre staff across Devon. This lived-experience training is able to help provide a positive and welcoming experience for people with disabilities and the Deaf community.

The sessions are being delivered as part of the VCSE vaccine outreach fund awarded by Devon County Council and NHS Devon with more sessions continuing this month.

The positive feedback which has been received so far highlights the benefit and value of using lived-experience and providing engaging and interactive sessions.
