Our services, support and information is led by you, we need you to make sure we’re providing the best possible advice and support. There are a variety of roles to get involved with through volunteering from office support to helping out at events or being an ambassador. Why volunteer with us?

Our voluntary roles are a great way to give back and gain experience at the same time. Often they can lead on to paid positions.

If there are no active positions listed but you are interested in volunteering with us please get in touch as we are always keen to hear directly from people.

We can offer volunteering opportunities
across the charity including:

  • Peer mentoring
  • Drivers
  • Events / Fundraising / Marketing
  • Time to Talk helpline support
  • Photography and videography
  • Countryside Mobility support
  • Disability forum
  • Administration support and much more…

It’s easy to get involved. You can simply fill out our online form and we will be in touch.

Who are we?

Annually over 6,000 disabled and Deaf people benefit from the activities that Living Options Devon provides. We are a user-led organisation meaning we have a first-hand understanding of the issues facing disabled and Deaf people.  We provide a wide range of support services, information, and advice, from supporting people to get active, connect with nature and connect with others.

Volunteer Peer Mentor

Could you spare the time to support, inspire and make a difference to others by being a Peer Mentor as part of our Time to Talk service?

Disability Ambassador

Do you offer a community service? Run a sports club, social activity or group?
We’re excited to be creating a network of volunteer Disability Ambassadors in the heart of local communities right across Devon.
