  • CoLab Exeter – Collaboration hub for positive change in people and communities.  CoLab supports people with complex life situations and multiple disadvantages, such as mental ill-health, homelessness, domestic and sexual violence and abuse, substance misuse, (re)offending and poverty.  They focus support around recovery, belonging, rehabilitation and wellbeing.

  • Age Concern Barnstaple and District – Focuses on the ‘quality of life and the wellbeing’ of older people in the local community.  They aim to improve the quality of life for older people and their carers. Seeking to ensure that they maintain their self-respect and independence and enjoy freedom of choice and equal opportunities.

  • Men’s Shed – Designed to give men an opportunity to engage in working on projects together, finding new friends, learning new skills and enjoying some friendly banter.

  • Magic Carpet – has worked in Exeter and surrounding towns offering a range of creative arts activities to those people who don’t usually access the arts because of difficulties with health, disability or their social circumstances.  Magic Carpet recognises that life can be a challenge and that creativity can help people be connected and to feel better.
