Do you love sport, or like being active? Perhaps during the pandemic, you discovered the benefits of exercise and want to share these with others? This is the perfect opportunity to support others to discover the physical and mental health benefits of taking part in the exercise.

Our Deaf Get Active team is looking for new volunteers to join their friendly group in encouraging more Deaf people (British Sign Language users) to get active and keep active.

What would the volunteering role involve?

The team hosts both online and offline fitness activities and group sessions, across a range of sporting activities to encourage Deaf people to get moving and keep moving.  Find out more about the team here

You don’t have to be Deaf to be a volunteer with the team, we’re looking for Deaf and nondeaf people to get involved with this exciting opportunity.  You’ll buddy a Deaf person through their journey into sport, or you’ll support the team in the delivery of activity sessions.
