Location:       Exeter office-based with flexibility to work from home a certain number of days a week. Ability to travel across Devon.

The Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA) Service is part of the Devon Advocacy Consortium, commissioned by Devon County Council to provide a high quality advocacy service across Devon and Torbay.

We are looking for someone with:

  • A good understanding of the principles of advocacy;
  •  Experience of working with people who have a range of disabilities and communication problems; and
  •  A good working knowledge in areas of Safeguarding, Mental Capacity, Mental Health or other relevant specialty

Previous advocacy experience is not essential as full accredited IMCA training will be provided.
