The Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA) Service is part of the Devon Advocacy Consortium, commissioned by Devon County Council to provide a high-quality advocacy service across Devon and Torbay.

We are looking for someone with:

  • A good understanding of the principles of advocacy;
  • Experience of working with people who have a range of disabilities and communication problems; and
  • Good working knowledge in areas of Safeguarding, Mental Capacity, Mental Health or other relevant specialty

Full accredited IMCA training will be provided.

£24,799 p.a. pro rata (NJC 19).  37 hours per week on a permanent contract.  Exeter office-based working with the ability to travel across Devon.

Closing date:  Wednesday 28th July 2021, 12pm.  Interview date: Friday 6th August 2021.
