We are proud to be a sponsor for the South West Tourism Excellence Awards 2023-24. The awards are now open and tourism and hospitality businesses from across the South West are being invited to enter.
The awards offer businesses the chance to win regionally, and for matching categories, to progress to the national Visit England awards.
Living Options Devon is sponsoring the Accessible and Inclusive Tourism Award. This award recognises tourism businesses providing truly memorable visitor experiences for everyone, particularly those with accessibility requirements.
We work with many businesses across the South West providing support, guidance and advice on how to become inclusive, accessible, disability aware and Deaf-friendly. This award is a chance to recognise the fantastic work being done by tourism and hospitality organisations across the region, and to encourage more businesses to recognise the importance of accessibility and inclusivity for all.
We would encourage keen businesses to get involved, key dates have been released and now include award entry workshops taking place on 17th and 23rd May.

- April 2023 – 2023/24 – Awards open for entry
- 17 & 23 May 2023 – Awards entry workshops
- 18th June 2023 (midnight) 2023/24 – Awards close for entry
- July – December 2023 – Judging
- January 2024 – Finalist Announcements
- 14 March 2024 – South West Tourism Excellence Awards
