Wellbeing events include TV celebrity

We have an exciting and varied line-up of events as part of our Deaf wellbeing service.

The wellbeing events are being run as part of our Deaf Led Services.

Monthly group walks are taking place across Devon as well as a series of wellbeing sessions and information events.

The line-up of events includes Yvonne Cobb and Caron Wolfenden, hosting a Menopause and Yoga retreat in BSL. You may recognise Yvonne from her slots on BBC Morning Live and ITV This Morning.

We have Matt Kirby, Community Liaison Officer providing an information session for 999BSL. This is the emergency VRS service for Deaf BSL users to contact the emergency services through a British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter. Matt’s session will also be followed by SignVideo.

Our popular group walks continue with Haldon Forest scheduled for June.

Our sessions are friendly, welcoming groups, run by deaf people. Our Deaf team are members of the Devon Deaf Community who are fluent in British Sign Language. We appreciate it can be daunting getting in touch, joining a new group or wanting to make a change, but we’re here help and give you the helping hand to get involved.

Visit our Deaf Wellbeing page for all event details or get in touch for more details.
