What is involved?
Living Options Devon (LOD) champions needs and rights, and provides vital support so people with disabilities and Deaf people (who use British Sign Language (BSL) are empowered to live the life they choose. By working together, we can achieve a world where disabled and Deaf people are equal members of society.
- We wish to recruit new members to our Board of Trustees.
- We need people who can help us achieve our mission and ensure the organisation is effectively managed. You need to be able to commit to regular attendance at Board meetings which are held quarterly in Exeter.
- As well as devoting the necessary time, you will have strategic vision, independent judgement, an ability to think creatively and a willingness to speak your mind.
- We are particularly looking for people with personal experience of disability
