BSL Interpreted Performance of Invisible Other comes to the Exeter Phoenix

Published 7th March 2022, in News

Exeter Phoenix has an upcoming performance of ‘Invisible Other’ which will be BSL interpreted

Brought to the stage for the first time, Invisible Other is a celebration of women’s life stories and unique experiences.

The Pheonix says:

Invisible Other takes the stories from women’s lives and celebrates them by putting them centre stage. Through these women’s stories we remember the ordinary, reveal the forgotten, join in with the laughter and share the best stories that make up the fabric of all our lives. During lockdown, the writer, Ruth, interviewed many women online. Since then she has run workshops in Exeter and Plymouth with women from across the South West, from all walks of life.

You can find some of the stories Ruth collected, BSL interpreted, on this link: https://ruthmitchelltheatremaker.com/bsl-stories/
