National Day of Reflection

23rd March is the first anniversary of the first UK lockdown, Marie Curie is hosting a National Day of Reflection marking the collective loss of those who’ve lost someone to the virus. Coming together to hope for a brighter future.

Reflect, Connect and Support

There are many different ways you can get involved on the day. Join the minute silence at 12noon and take a moment to reflect on the last 12 months, or you could connect with someone you know is grieving, or struggling. Show your support by shining a light at 8pm.

Affected by grief this year?

Marie Curie is also hosting a program of online/virtual talks and conversations throughout the day of 23rd March 2021. Whether you’ve been affected by grief this year or would like to learn more, you are invited to join them. Guest speakers include the author and poet Micheal Morpurgo and actor Jim Carter.
