Job title: Referral Co-ordinator
Salary: £25,991 FTE
Hours: Part time 15 hours per week over 2 days (Monday and Tuesdays)
Contract: Permanent
Location: Hybrid – Exeter office / home based
Start date: 1st October 2024
A great opportunity to work as part of a consortium to provide a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for health and social care professionals and members of the public who wish to make a referral or enquiry to the Devon Advocacy service.
The role:
- To handle incoming referrals to the service.
- To triage and allocate referrals based on client need.
- To accurately record client information on the advocacy database.
- To respond to enquiries to the service via phone and email.
- To signpost to alternative support services where appropriate.

- Good attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with service users, professionals and others
- Effective organisational skills and ability to manage competing demands
- Understanding of the issues around Safeguarding and confidentiality
- Good IT skills with excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, use of internet, social media, knowledge of MO365 and experience in using CRM’s
- An interest in disability and Deaf issues
