Published 10th November 2023, in News, News & Updates

Safeguarding Adults Week

Safeguarding Adults Week is a time for organisations to come together to raise awareness of important safeguarding issues.

For this year’s Safeguarding Adults Week, we’ve teamed up with Torbay and Devon Safeguarding Adults Partnership. We will be sharing information daily and signposting to useful resources. Each day will be themed around a certain area or topic of safeguarding.

The week is designed to help raise awareness, share some great resources and encourage everyone to be better informed.

By working together, we can all help to protect vulnerable people from risk of harm.

On Wednesday 22 November, 11am-12pm, expert speaker, Dave Monks will be hosting a free online webinar: Loan Sharks and Scams
Dave Monk has a wealth of experience in this field with 17 years in the police force in dealing with anti-money laundering, fraud, corruption and financial crimes. This webinar will be useful for anyone working directly with service users, as well as providing advice on how we can all avoid becoming a victim of sophisticated scams.

How to get involved:

  • Follow us on social media for daily resources and information.
