They are encouraging people who want to make a difference to young people’s lives and are interested in supporting students on their education journey. Care workers at the Deaf Academy help students to develop language skills, get involved with activities in the local community, and help organise sports and recreation activities for students.

The Deaf Academy invite potential care workers to come along to their open morning to find out about the role. The event is running between 9:45 and 11:45 on Friday, 1st July 2022. The academy’s principal, Sylvan Dewing and other key staff members will be there to answer questions. You’ll also have the opportunity to tour the state-of-art facilities on the academy site.
