Living Options Charity Christmas Tree at Princesshay

Our Living Options tree is now in place and decorated at Princesshay, Exeter

The charity tree initiative run by Princesshay is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year and we’re delighted to be featured as one of the 35 charity Christmas trees for 2022.

Christmas can be a lonely time for many, so we ran a free event at our Exeter head office inviting our service users and local people to come and help create this year’s decorations.

Crafting has been proven to be able to help have a positive impact on mental health. Our craft morning was a chance to bring people together regardless of crafting knowledge or expertise and to enjoy being a part of our festive preparations. The team of crafters created pom-pom reindeers, hand sewn felt Christmas trees, elves, jewelled baubles and much more, all whilst enjoying mince pies and hot chocolate.

We hope that Christmas shoppers will find time to explore our Living Options tree and that the decorations bring a smile to those who visit our tree, along with all the other fantastic charity trees on display this year.

The charity Christmas trees can be seen on Bedford Street outside the former Debenhams store, lit and decorated from Thursday 17th November.
