Job Title: Independent Advocate / Paid Representative
Reports to: Advocacy Manager
Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Salary: £25,991 p.a. pro rata
Location: Home based with flexibility to cover Devon-wide remit
Contract: Permanent

We are looking for someone with:

• A good understanding of the principles of advocacy;
• Experience of working with people who have a range of disabilities and communication problems; and

• A good working knowledge in areas of Safeguarding, Mental Capacity, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, Mental Health or other relevant speciality.

• Previous advocacy experience not essential.

Closing date:   Friday 02/08/24 (5pm)
Interview date: Tuesday 13/08/24.
