Community Catalysts project helps care start-ups in Devon

Community Catalysts has partnered with Devon County Council to create a new community enterprise project in Devon. The project aims to assist the start-up, development and growth of community enterprises that provide help and support for older and disabled people.

Community Catalysts is a social enterprise working across the UK to try to make sure that people who need care and support to live their lives can get local help in ways, times and places that suit them. The project aims to help local people to form sustainable community enterprises that support other local people, creating jobs and volunteering opportunities.

Community Enterprise Project in Devon

This is a new and exciting project delivered in partnership with Devon County Council. The two-year project aims to assist start-up community enterprises to offer help in people’s homes. The project is looking for people in the south and west Exeter areas, as well as Tedburn St Mary, Pathfinder Village, Starcross, Dawlish and Teignmouth areas.

Community Enterprise

The project can help people with talents, passion and local knowledge to start and run community enterprises making a difference to the lives of local people. The project is focussed on enterprises that support older or disabled people.
